Literate Environment
When I become a teacher, I need to be willing to create an environment that requires all of the necessary classroom conduct and curriculum, but also collaborates with literacy support.
This document was created in conjunction with Joshua Twery and Dominic Rutan, so that we could organize our understanding of how to implement new reading strategies. Within each chapter of the analyzed text was a situation in which a new teacher was struggling to connect with his students. Then, a new content strategy was introduced, and the chapter was concluded by recollecting how the new teacher was then able to effectively facilitate the new strategy. All new teachers often times struggle with classroom engagement and creating environments where students are excited to participate and be active. Creating this document allowed me to consider support systems between the students and the teacher, in addition to meeting the needs of learners. |
